Living in Upper Lonsdale means you are likely going to see and encounter black bears. I was just speaking with a client and was reminded that bears can be abundant due to all the parks, trails, creeks and streams.
As much as they are beautiful animals, it is so important to help protect them and their families by tending to our yard, and especially our garbage. They are intelligent animals and once they have found an easy food source, they will frequent that home for more meals.
