A popular question people considering Upper Lonsdale, North Vancouver as their new home...  is Upper Lonsdale a good place to live...

As someone that raised my family in the area, and knowing so many people in the community, the answer is a resounding YES!

And here is why.

Upper Lonsdale is known for great views with accessibility to the North Shore outdoors and nature including parks, creeks, wildlife and nature including mountain biking and hiking trails.  There are many miles of trails taking to the back country to enjoy (be safe and always be prepared with proper dress, food and safety and let people know where you are going).  Check out water falls, amazing nature and stunning wildlife including black bears, coyotes, squirrels, dear, raccoons, skunks and the occasional cougar).

Above the highway, up Lonsdale Avenue and five blocks wither side of Lonsdale is considered to be part of Upper Lonsdale.  The area is home to Queens Cross Pub, Queensdale Market and a handful of local businesses.

There are roughly 2500 detached houses in the area with houses and town houses along the busier streets including Lonsdale Avenue, Queens Road, Westview and West 28th Street and East 29th Street.
