Late Spring Rush 2024; High End Upper Lonsdale Sales Slow



Sales in Upper Lonsdale, just like most markets has been low this year.  That is in part, due to a very low supply.  Other key factors are the BC Gov mandate of increased density (people waiting on this before making decisions) and mortgage interest rates.

It is great news to see an extremely slow spring sales volume  (2 detached homes sold in Upper Lonsdale May 2024) starting to turn around.  There have been five sales over the past seven days.  Two sold over asking price and two sold within $10,000.  

Just over half way through the month of June and there are six detached sales.

The higher end listings are not moving quickly and the highest priced sale in Upper Lonsdale 2024 YTD is $3,275,000; there have been six sales over $2.5M
